June Stitch Fix Reveal

May 2019 is in the books! And y’all!!! I was so ready for the month to end, and beyond ready to kick off June in style! Let’s just say it was the best of times and the worst of times, all rolled into one month. It’s my birthday month! Yay! I got to spend time with the grands! Yay! My boss told me he was moving me from my dream job to another department. Boooo. My confidence and ego were shattered. Double boooo. But now I get to work with some fantastically talented and compassionate people who have loved and embraced me and welcomed me into their work family! Yay! AND I got to redecorate my new office space, and oh yeah, I may need a few new outfits for my new position. Enter Stitch Fix to the rescue! I’m still on my shopping diet, so I’m trying to be practical in my clothing purchases. I asked for items I could wear in my new position….let’s see how my stylist did!

June Stitch Fix Reveal 2019

I no longer have to attend evening meetings, or get dressed up professionally as often as I did before. I have a stockpile of blazers and suiting pieces, many of which I’ll be sending to consignment and sharing with my daughter. I’ll keep a few of my favorites of course, the basic pieces that I can ALWAYS use. But now I just need some nice outfits that can go from work to play in a snap, so I told Katherine about my job change, asking her to send me pieces that were a bit more laid back, and I also asked for tops and cardigans. Here’s her stylist note:

Stitch Fix Stylist’s Note

PINK CLOVER Marni Waterfall Cardigan

Gray Waterfall Cardigan - Stitch Fix

This gray and white cardigan is soft and stretchy, and will be a perfect little layering piece for my super cold office. Seriously y’all. The vent sits right on top of my desk! I’ll probably leave this cardi at work, so I can snuggle up on it when I get cold. I think it’ll look super cute with jeans and one of my favorite graphic tees.

DANIEL RAINN Calisto Pleat Detail Tulip Sleeve Blouse

Daniel Rainn Black & White Top - Stitch Fix

This cute little black and white top is from one of my favorite Stitch Fix brands – Daniel Rainn. In fact, I’ve rarely met a DR top I didn’t absolutely love! Easy and breezy, it’ll go with tons of pants and cardigans in my closet.

COSMIC BLUE LOVE Moriah Straight Leg Pant

Collective Concepts Top and Cosmic Blue Love Pant | Stitch Fix

I was prepared to not like these pants at all. In fact, in my mind, I was all prepared to return them. I didn’t think I’d like the color, or the fit, and I was really worried about how they’d look on my pear shape hips. But surprise! I love them. They are so soft, they have a relaxed fit, and the cropped length and rolled cuff is absolutely perfect for summer. The soft yellow just screams summertime! LOVE!!

COLLECTIVE CONCEPTS Zimmerman Tie Sleeve Blouse

I think I have a grand total of one green top in my entire wardrobe, and I keep it on hand for St. Patrick’s Day. It’s just not one of my go to colors. Look how cute they look with the yellow pants! There’s also a bit of coral in the print, so I think they’ll go back nicely with these pants I got a few fixes ago.

PALE SKY Tabitha Lattice Detail Top

June Stitch Fix | Pale Sky Top

Finally, this sunny yellow top is an absolute dream It even comes with a separate cami! That’s like a two-fer! I think the yellow color is an absolute sunshiny dream. And who doesn’t love a fun floral print? I’ll have to add a cardigan for the office, but I’m definitely keeping this cute little top!

  1. Oh my goodness I love those yellow pants! I don’t own much green either, but that top is cute. Love the yellow floral too! A great casual work fix!

  2. I often see bloggers with a Stitch Fix box and almost always think, that doesn t suit her at all! But I have to say that I like all the items on you! I think a stylist does have to know you a bit!

    1. Hi! I’m pretty fortunate that I’ve had the same stylist for awhile now. I think that helps; she gets me!
