Itโs almost the โloveโliest time of the year yโall, so Iโm here to share a little Valentineโs Day outfit inspo with you. Iโm a sucker for holidays and enjoy dressing up for them, so todayโs post gave me an excuse to go play in my closet (one of my favorite things to do). If youโre like me, you have plenty of basics in your closet, just waiting for you to dress up for a special occasion. Valentineโs Day is no exception. Try creating a Valentineโs Day outfit from pieces you already have! And donโt be afraid to try a new color combo, or style that Valentineโs sweater in a fresh new way.
Valentineโs Day Outfit Inspo
Look Number One

Iโve had this red leopard print top for literally years and years. I usually just pop it with a pair of black trousers for work, throw a cardigan on top and call it done. But I thought Iโd try creating a Valentineโs Day outfit using the top as my jumping-off point. I styled it with the Spanx faux leather leggings I got a while back. (tip, if you order these leggings, be sure to size up if breathing is important to you) I added the red pumps I found on sale at Ann Taylor to dress things up a bit. My instincts told me to just wear a tall boot, but I went with the pop of red and I like it, donโt you? Because Iโm super self-conscious about over-exposure, I threw on an oversized blazer for some extra coverage. I like how it elevates the outfit a bit.

Look Number Two

Look number two features the same black leggings with a tunic-length red sweater. (shop similar sweater HERE) I kept the red pumps, but this would be equally cute with a pair of leopard print booties or shoes. True confession hereโฆthis outfit is 100% in my comfort zone! The leggings give the outfit a little vavavoom, but I still feel modestly dressed. I like it when my assets are fully covered! This is such a simple outfit, and super easy to recreate.
Look Number Three

This look would be perfect for a Galentineโs lunch date with friends, or a casual get-together. Iโve always liked pink and red together, and it works beautifully in this fun sweater I found at TJMaxx. The design reminds me of those addicting candy conversation hearts. This time of year heart motif shirts and sweaters are absolutely everywhere! Find one that you like, throw it on with jeans, and boom! Done! Iโm styling it here with my red pumps for a dressier vibe, but if I was doing something a little more casual, Iโd style it with my glittery red sneakers.
