Hi ladies! Is it just me, or did April last 495 days? Between the Covid quarantine, toilet paper shortages, and a rollicking, destructive hailstorm, I am so ready for the April showers to be over the May flowers to bloom. My Stylish Monday sisters and I are teaming up to show you some fresh new ways to style spring florals. I can’t wait to show off their fabulous looks!

FLORAL PRINTS – WHAT MY FRIENDS ARE STYLING
Suzanne – Ask Suzanne Bell sports a gorgeous floral jumpsuit. Jumpsuits are so versatile and can be dressed up or down, just like a dress. I know you’re going to want to click through and find out all about her great outfit. Nina – Sharing a Journey is in a floral dress that just screams spring!
Michele – seechele_styles (on Instagram) is showing off her light pink floral tee and a beautiful floral shopper’s tote and I want now I think I need one in my life! Julie – Fashion Trends and Friends looks adorable in her retro inspired floral top. I love how she styled it with the lilac ankle pants. So cute! Click their links and get all the info on how they styled their looks.
Nancy – Nancy Fashion Style and Nicole – High Latitude Style are both styling beautiful floral skirts. I think they both look so polished! Be sure to click through for all the details on their looks.
Emma – Style Splash and Cindy – Cindy Scurry both feature red floral prints in their posts. Emma’s beautiful twist front dress is so figure flattering! Notice how she pulled out the lavender color in the floral print with her beautiful handbag. I can’t wait to find out more! Cindy’s look is casually chic- that bandana floral print skirt has me swooning! You could easily replicate this look with a denim jacket if you’re not comfortable tying a denim shirt (something I struggle with because of my body type).
My Floral Look – One Dress Three Ways
I received this beautiful London Times dress in my October Stitch Fix and love the length and style. I don’t normally wear a sheath style dress because that’s not typically the best style of dress for my pear shape. (Read more tips and tricks for dressing a pear shape HERE) But I do have a few style tools in my wardrobe toolbox that I employ when I find something I really, really want to wear. As Tim Gunn says, I “make it work”!

Look One: The Dress

A dress like this beautiful on its own and truly needs very little embellishment. Look for a good fabric that will glide over your figure. A pair of simple pink strappy sandals and pretty earrings and you’re good to go.
Look Two: The Dress with a Waterfall Cardigan

I’m most confident when I can add a top layer to a dress, especially a longer length one like this. I feel covered and comfortable. Adding a waterfall cardigan like this one from Lark & Ro to a dress and strappy sandals will make you look taller. Keep the top layer simple.
Look Three: The Dress with a White Denim Jacket

Who knew you could totally dress down a classic dress like this by throwing on a denim jacket and some sneakers? I shared last week all about styling dresses and sneakers, a look I’ve totally embraced. It’s just so fun and easy. Read more HERE

What a lovely idea to pair all of us! I love a floral print even more now!
It’s no secret that I’m a fan of florals, and I love how all the ladies styles theirs!
Being pear-shaped myself, I understand what you are saying about sheath dresses, but that one looks fabulous on you. The colors and design are so yummy!

It’s a great dress! Hopefully I’ll actually have somewhere to wear it soon!
This floral dress is such a great west meets east piece. The nice Indian vibe with a classic tunic cut. The keyhole detail is awesome. Great styling. My fav look is the one with the white denim jacket.
Hi Andy!
I love all 3 looks, each different in their own way. You know I love cardigans- so that pretty pink knit creates such a soft, yet bold look. And the sneakers and jacket, out of the box and so casual chic!!
