Happy almost Spring! I don’t know about you, but this time of year is somewhat of a struggle for me when it comes to what to wear each day. Some days are cold, some are warm, most are rainy and cool. But the flowers are beginning to bloom, the trees are greening up and our hearts and minds turn happily toward this change in seasons. Happy Spring! Finally!! Yippee!! Our first signal of spring is when the redbud trees start blooming, followed by the pear trees and bright yellow jonquils. Their blooms are a sweet signal that the long, dreary, wet winter might finally be in our rear view window, and pretty, sunshiny days are ahead. Only it’s the south, so we can also expect storms, tornadoes, and seasonal allergies (thank you Claritin and Flonase!!) The hubs and I decided to take a road trip to the Ozark Mountains for our Spring Break this year. We stayed at lovely, rustic Big Cedar Lodge, just south of Branson, Missouri. The trip called for a casual wardrobe, and layers, because of the iffy weather. I am usually so packing challenged y’all! But, I was inspired by the items I received in my latest Stitch Fix to use colors of pink and navy, creating a capsule wardrobe for my trip. Read on to see what I packed.
