It’s that time of year where we begin the rush towards the holidays. Christmas is just two months away! Yikes! I can feel that freight train already rushing. My October was so busy with work and vacation and baby showers and wedding showers and life! And I have a feeling it’s not going to slow down for awhile. Can you relate? Something I look forward to each month is receiving my Stitch Fix. And it’s time for another reveal! This fix was a mixed bag. Kind of a hit and miss fix. But it’s always been my motto to keep it real, so here goes!
Just in case you haven’t heard of Stitch Fix, it’s a styling service that connects you with a stylist who personally selects beautiful pieces for you based on a style profile you complete online. I’ve been lucky enough to have been assigned really gifted stylists who seem to “get me” and my wants and needs. Stitch Fix is also known for its algorithm that learns your preferences based on your style profile, requests and even your Pinterest boards. (If that intrigues you then read this: Stitch Fix Algorithms Tour.) There’s plenty of other brainiac stuff that happens at Stitch Fix, that I absolutely do NOT understand, but I DO completely understand and appreciate the personal customer service I receive. That’s where my stylist Erin comes in. And this is what she chose for me this month.

Pixley Masen Waffle Stitch Cardigan
I found this cute sweater on Pinterest, and Erin saw that I added it to my Stylin Board so she sent it to me to try. It’s a cute sweater, but I had tons of fit issues with it. You can tell that the sleeves are WAYYYY too long for me, and unfortunately it just felt sloppy. Bummer. (returned)

Liverpool Harper Bootcut Pant
(Shown in the above pic) I love these pants so much! I recently received the same pant in burgundy, and have worn them several times, so I requested another pair. Erin sent black, and I can already tell that I’ll be wearing these all winter long. Great quality and super fit. And they don’t wrinkle and I don’t have to iron them! Woot! (kept!)
Alexia Admor Amber Knit Dress
I was so excited when I peeked at my fix and saw that I was receiving this dress. I almost hyperventilated with excitement! Sadly, my pear shape had other ideas. I really wish you could see the behind the scenes look at me and the hubs before he took this picture. He was literally having to tug the lining down because it kept bunching up under my armpits on down. Like I said, keeping it real y’all! It just fit awkwardly. Typical pear – I’m smallish up top and largish down bottom and those two things don’t add up correctly in a sheath style dress. Let’s just say I felt just a bit too “va-va-vavoom”! But oh my goodness how I wish it had worked because it is GORGEOUS. (returned)

RD Style Harriette Cowl Neck Sweater
This is a cute sweater in a lovely shade of gray, perfectly lightweight for our southern falls and winters. I also pinned this one, but you never know until you see something in real life, you know? I just wasn’t in love enough with it to spend $68 bucks. I’m on a budget! Remember, Christmas is coming! (returned)

41 Hawthorn Shara Herringbone Vest
Oh how I adore this vest! I think I may even be able to wear it to work with the right top underneath. It’s soft and cuddly and warm without feeling like a box. The contrasting trim and cute quilting are a nice design touch. I’m thrilled with it! (kept!)

AS you can see, I don’t always keep everything I receive. I feel like if I keep two items it’s a nice little treat to my wardrobe, and not too tough on the budget. I hope you enjoyed this reveal. Let me know what you think in the comments below. And if you’re interested in trying Stitch Fix yourself, please use my referral code! Thanks for taking the time to read my little blog. I love the cowl neck sweater on you – so cozy and the color is perfect!
How fun! I signed up for Stitch Fix but haven’t tried actually ordered a fix yet. It was fun seeing what you got! Now I am going to go look for other posts! 🙂
I really enjoy it. I’ve posted several reveals. Let me know what you think! And definitely give it a try.
Loved many of those pieces when I first saw them too. Bummer they didn’t work out.
The nice thing about Stitch Fix is that even if a few things don’t work out, there’s always next time!
I love everything you got in your fix!!! That green dress though is probably my favorite! I haven’t gotten a fix in awhile, so I just might have to schedule one soon!
You should schedule a fall fix. They’re offering some wonderful pieces right now. Thanks for reading the blog and for your comments!
