Chic & Cozy Coats is this month’s Stylish Monday theme, and the ladies have outdone themselves this time y’all. Our weather here is milder than most of my Stylish Monday sisters, so I don’t often wear a big, bulky coat, but it sure is nice to have one or two in the closet when it does feel like actual winter around here! I was really interested to see how the ladies styled theirs since several of them live in much colder climates. My mama thought he was so dirty. I thought he was so cute. My high school BFF and I were even members of the KC and the Sunshine Band Fan Club back in the day. No shame in my disco game y’all. Anyway. I’m thrilled that he’s coming to town next month, and the hubs and I, along with some friends are going to the concert! EEEEK! I’m so stinking excited. My 16 year old inner teenager is seriously fangirling all over the place. Happy New Year!

Oh it’s that time again! The tree is down. The Christmas decorations and lights are tucked away for the year, though I really miss seeing the pretty lights every evening. I kinda think we should enjoy a little sparkle every night!  My grandkids agree. christmas eve kids

But, it’s now time for resolutions, and to set goals for healthier living, saving money, and getting organized. In other words, it’s a clean slate, and our chance to start the new year right. I take advantage of my holiday break to get things lined up and organized while I have the opportunity and am off work for the holidays.
