Barbie Pink is trending this season, thanks to the new summer movie hit. But if you’ve followed me for a minute, you know that pink is always on trend in my closet, no matter the season, or what social media and the fashion gods and goddesses say is in style. I took a little shopping trip to my local Belk store this weekend and found the most adorable Barbie pink dress, so I can’t wait to show it off! I’m also sharing a few more pink dresses you can grab now, and some are even on sale!
What Is the Barbie Pink Trend?
Think saturated pink tones like the screenshot shown above. It’s been reported that so much pink paint was used on the set of Barbie they created a shortage of pink paint! Now that’s a lot of pink y’all. The dopamine dressing trend has been going strong for several seasons now, and, to me, the Barbie pink trend is just a continuation of that vibe.
How to Style the Barbie Pink Trend
Here are a few ways to style this hot trend.
- Look for pink suiting – pink blazers and pink trousers are everywhere, and probably on sale! Remember you can break those pieces up to make new outfits too.
- Pink dresses like the one I’m styling below are a fun way to rev up your wardrobe. Look for dresses in styles you’re most comfortable with. The joy of this trending color is that it’s easy to find!
- If head-to-toe pink isn’t your thing, try pink trousers with a black top to tone it down, or simply add a pink accessory.
- Remember to stay true to yourself. If you aren’t into pink then don’t worry about it! The trend cycle spins continuously!
