I’m sure by now you’ve noticed that all the bloggers in the world are sharing about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Well y’all. I work. And I’m on a budget. My hot water heater busted, making a mess and costing an arm and a leg. AND I just bought tickets to go see my son and his family in Denver. I’m kind of bleeding money over here. So let’s just say that I will be extremely careful during this year’s sale. I’m going to feature a few pieces that are classic work wear, and are ALL under $100! Hurry if you want to shop the sale though. Prices go up August 6, and everything sells out fast.

It’s finally Spring y’all! Can I get an amen from my sisters up north? I know it’s been a long, grueling winter. But I think (maybe) we’ve finally made it. Of course what that means down here in the southern part of the country is storms. Lots of storms. Possible tornadoes and hail and wind, followed by bizarre cold snaps that freeze baby peaches and any bedding plants you were foolish enough to plant. Because Mother Nature is a diva, apparently.

February, and the struggle is real y’all. It’s cold, wet, rainy and just generally blahhhh…Heck, it even rained on Valentine’s Day! I do not handle this time of the year very well at all. Not well at all!! It’s always so hard to know what to wear to work too. Is it going to rain? Is it going to be freezing? Is it going to be 80? Who knows???
