I’m sure by now you’ve noticed that all the bloggers in the world are sharing about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Well y’all. I work. And I’m on a budget. My hot water heater busted, making a mess and costing an arm and a leg. AND I just bought tickets to go see my son and his family in Denver. I’m kind of bleeding money over here. So let’s just say that I will be extremely careful during this year’s sale. I’m going to feature a few pieces that are classic work wear, and are ALL under $100! Hurry if you want to shop the sale though. Prices go up August 6, and everything sells out fast.

I love simple pieces that can go back with other items in my closet. I don’t have a houndstooth jacket, and I love the ruched sleeves on this little blazer. It would look cute with a floral blouse, or thrown over a dress like the classic wrap style below. And of course everybody needs a good pair of work trousers. These are from NYDJ, feature stretch and awesome control. I purchased a pair last year and love them! The basic tee is a blank canvas for your wardrobe. Throw it on under a cardigan or blazer like this one for work. Or layer it up with a flannel shirt, jeans and booties in the fall. It comes in a wide range of colors and is a great basic to have in your closet.

I think this wrap dress is gorgeous. It’s available in red or a vivid blue. Perfect for work, church or after five. Accessorize with the Kendra Scott earrings in gold, which are seriously on sale for $45.90. Can one actually have too many Kendra pieces in their closet? Nope. I’ll be ordering these shoes from Sofft. The neutral color will go back with so many things in the closet, and the little wedge heel will be super comfy for a long day in the office. They’ll be the perfect transition shoe for fall. Try dressing them down with jeans, tank and a kimono on your days off work. Cute!

Finally, who doesn’t need a great work tote? This one comes with a handy little zip pouch for organizing all those little things that tend to get lost. It will fit all your work gear, and look much better than lugging around a shopping bag from Kroger, don’t you think? (not that I’ve ever been known to do such a thing) On sale for $58!

Finally, here’s another great item available on the sale. I purchased this cute Gibson Tie Front Top earlier this summer and love it! It fits beautifully, is extremely figure flattering, and will be a fantastic transition piece going into Fall. It’s available in both the red floral and a black floral. And seriously on sale!
