Because Spring is not only a season of transition, it’s also a refreshing season of rebirth and revamping of our wardrobes and makeup bags! Favorite Things for Spring 2023 | Beauty
I’ve used Urban Decay Sin Eyeshadow for years now. It’s not glittery at all but adds a nice shimmer to the eyelid. Try popping it in the center of your eyelid as the finishing touch to your eyeshadow for a subtle touch of brightness. I always get compliments on my nails, and people are stunned when I reveal that they are Kiss Impress Nails press-on nails. These are NOT your mama’s press ons y’all. This bare nude color in the square shape is my go-to for a neutral nail, but I am not shy about trying out the fun patterns and colors from this brand. I just discovered the TikTok viral Telescopic Lift Mascara, and let me tell you something…it’s legit. I go back and forth between using it by itself or using the comb-type wand to lengthen my lashes after the other mascaras I use. It’s game changer ladies! Maybelline Lifter Gloss is also a fairly new discovery that I shared in my THIS POST. This color is absolutely gorgeous. Ten out of ten girls! Grab it if you haven’t already.
Favorite Things for Spring 2023 | Fashion & Style
I am all about brightening up my color palette when the calendar says springtime. So I am loving blue and white this season. I’m seeing chinoiserie-style fabrics in everything from tops to dresses. As a result, these styles look fresh and ladylike. I’m also major in love with the wide-leg pants and crops that are everywhere this spring. Yes, I’m still a skinny jean girl, but I’m also not afraid to hop on this trend. If a super wide leg isn’t your style, opt for a simple flare or a baby bootcut, which is always flattering, especially for us pear-shaped gals.
Favorite Things for Spring 2023 | Accessories
Sometimes it really is the little things that matter! I have a few favorites and a couple of new things to show you. Cecelia New York sent me a pair of their gorgeous Olivia Sandals, and I cannot wait until it’s warm enough to wear them. The neutral color will go with absolutely everything in my closet. The gold heel is right on trend, as metallics are HUGE this season. I’ll also be adding this pink handbag from Avara to my cart. I customized these Sheila Earrings from Kendra Scott last year and kept them on heavy rotation all spring and summer, and yes I’ll be wearing them often this year as well.
