Fall makes me so happy! There’s just something about those shorter days and somewhat cooler temps (this IS the south after all) that makes me want to deck our home in festive fall style. Fall is actually my favorite season, I adore pumpkins and mums and leaves and plaids and all things cozy and warm and welcoming. Even though I have PLENTY of fall decor in the attic waiting for me to put out every year, I still find myself shopping for new fall decorations, and so I thought I’d share some of the fun things I’m swooning over this year.

I’ve been looking at adding a little buffalo plaid to my fall home decor this year. I think it blends in nicely with the neutral colors of the burlap and also with traditional fall colors like the oranges of pumpkins and warm-toned fall flowers and leaves. I love color and have a hard time going completely neutral when it comes to my home decor (or outfits for that matter!)However, these neutral pieces will be a great base layer for all of our family’s traditional fall decor we’ve used year after year.
I’m really in love with those Thanksgiving place cards and the ruffled burlap placemats. Aren’t they adorable? And I may be snatching up that cute hello pumpkin doormat too. It’s so cute! There’s so much fresh fall home decor in stores now! It’s so tempting to buy it all!
