What I Wore This Week -December

Howdy y’all and welcome back! We made it through the first week of December!  I don’t know about you, but I truly believe that the the time between December 1 and December 25 is the quickest on the calendar! I’m going to show you a few outfits I wore last week, and share some buying and styling tips as well. As you probably know – each day I share my workwear and casual wear looks on my Instagram feed. Here’s a few of my favorites from this past week…

Tip: monochromatic dressing is a miracle worker for pear-shaped gals! Add a beautiful blouse with details up top to draw attention to your neck and shoulders – super figure flattering!

Tip: Don’t be afraid to mix your patterns. These days almost anything goes. Floral and plaid is a natural! As long as the colors are in the same family, you should be safe…

Tip: Have fun during the holidays with your fashion choices. A little glitter and sequins never hurt anybody! A fun fur vest adds a dressier touch to an otherwise casual top.

Tip: You can find fun pieces like this vest at your favorite local boutique. That’s where I got mine. Shop local! Remember to create a column of color under your vest or jacket to add the illusion of height and to slenderize your look.
