What I Wore In Italy

What I Wore In Italy

I’m sharing today what I wore in Italy in October, along with a few things I wish I’d packed. This was indeed the trip of a lifetime, and one I highly recommend you add to your bucket list if you haven’t traveled to Italy before. I’m so glad I pre-planned my wardrobe! It took a little pressure off to have that part of my trip planned out. You may remember my travel capsule wardrobe post I shared with you before my trip, and believe me it was helpful to organize myself that way, but I definitely learned a few things once I arrived in Italy, and I can’t wait to share what I learned with you!

Fall Travel Capsule Wardrobe

Fall Travel Capsule Wardrobe

I’m thrilled to share a few fall travel capsule wardrobe ideas with you today. I’m hopping on a jet plane bound for Italy (oh my goodness, Italy! The food, the wine, the sights, the history! Gift Ideas for Couples Who Have Enough Stuff!

Gift Ideas for Couples Who Have Enough Stuff!

Even though our nest has emptied, our lives stay full of blessings and bounty. Work keeps us busy, and our friends and family (and grandkids!) keep us active and involved in life. I absolutely DO NOT need another small appliance or kitchen gadget. I don’t want or need any more tchotchkes or figurines or home décor. So the hubs and I talked, and decided that we would gift each other with experiences and memories we could share together. I guess we’ve become sentimental in our midlife years! If you’re on the same page, read on for some clever ideas! Continue reading “Gift Ideas for Couples Who Have Enough Stuff!”

Our Fun Fall Getaway!

Our Fun Fall Getaway!

It’s been unseasonably warm here. Well not warm. Hot. It’s been hot. I think we had one quick minute where the temperature felt cool enough to wear actual closed toe shoes and jeans and flannel. But it IS the south, and we live in flip-flops here pretty much year-round. My brother moved to New Hampshire not long ago, and we jumped at the chance to visit him, in the hopes we would also be able to experience fall in the northeast, as well as tour historical sites we had only read about. And maybe wear shoes other than flip flops. Continue reading “Our Fun Fall Getaway!”
