Today I’m sharing a few fabulous fall styles from Target. From fresh new takes on classic fall plaids to cozy sweaters, Target’s fall style game is strong! I’ll admit, I’m not much of a plaid girl, but I think you’ll agree that these styles are not your average fall plaid. And the colorblocked sweater is so soft, snuggly, and stylish! I even highlighted it in my recent #wannabewednesday post over on the gram. Read on to see my fall Target haul, and to see how I styled these great pieces!Continue reading “Classic Fall Styles from Target”
Rain, rain go away…etc. etc. etc. It seems like it’s been raining forever here y’all. Creeks, chutes, bayous and rivers are rising, our yard is a spongy mess, and weeds are taking over everything! I think I might actually be starting to mildew. But I guess we have to remember that after the rain comes the rainbow, and the flowers and the sun will eventually shine. Because of our dreary weather, I asked Katherine, my Stitch Fix stylist, to send me items that were bright and happy and full of color. I’m a firm believer in color therapy, and bright and happy colors make me a bright and happy girl! Read on to see what she sent me!
Happy Spring! Finally!! Yippee!! Our first signal of spring is when the redbud trees start blooming, followed by the pear trees and bright yellow jonquils. Their blooms are a sweet signal that the long, dreary, wet winter might finally be in our rear view window, and pretty, sunshiny days are ahead. Only it’s the south, so we can also expect storms, tornadoes, and seasonal allergies (thank you Claritin and Flonase!!) The hubs and I decided to take a road trip to the Ozark Mountains for our Spring Break this year. We stayed at lovely, rustic Big Cedar Lodge, just south of Branson, Missouri. The trip called for a casual wardrobe, and layers, because of the iffy weather. I am usually so packing challenged y’all! But, I was inspired by the items I received in my latest Stitch Fix to use colors of pink and navy, creating a capsule wardrobe for my trip. Read on to see what I packed.
