If you know anything about me, you know how much I enjoy trying subscription boxes. From Stitch Fix to Amazon to Birch Box to Ipsy…I’ve enjoyed them all. And when my daughter told me that FabFitFun has a new subscription fashion box, I was intrigued! I’ve subscribed to their regular FatFitFun box for about a year, and always look forward to seeing that happy box full of beauty and home products on my front porch. So I thought I’d give their new service a try; and to double the fun, my daughter joined in! We had a blast styling each other, and trying on the pieces my stylist sent. August Stitch Fix Reveal – Maxis and More

Howdy! It’s time for another Stitch Fix Reveal! I’m not a huge fan of clothes shopping in the summertime. It’s too dang hot to try on clothes! Fitting rooms are just tiny, hot rooms of torture, dirty carpet and ugly mirrors. I mean seriously and for real, fitting rooms give my hot flashes the hot flashes! I come out of there looking like I’ve been wrestling (which I have, with the clothes I just tried on) and my hair looks like I just survived an Oklahoma tornado! And this, folks, is why I love Stitch Fix! When my Fix arrives, I can try it all on in the comfort of my home, and not worry about stepping on one of those little pant clippie thingies and lacerating my foot or catching some weird form of foot fungus from the skanky carpet. This month I asked my stylist for maxi dresses, and to surprise me with anything else she felt like sending. So, here’s the reveal!

It’s a wrap! And with that, the year is halfway over! Whew! That was fast! I had a busy month – I transitioned into my new position at work, had a fun weekend visit with a dear friend, spent a crazy Saturday shopping with another friend, enjoyed a girls night out with dinner and a movie, and spent lots of quality time with the hubs in the pool! (when it wasn’t raining..seriously y’all…so much rain!) Here’s a quick recap of my favorite outfits from the month, and my usual tips and shopping ideas.
