Though not officially summer, for those of us down south, it’s been summer for awhile! As we enter the hot, humid, sultry days of summer, I thought I’d share with you a few of my favorite things to help you weather the heat and humidity in style. Spring Break Style

Happy Spring! Finally!! Yippee!! Our first signal of spring is when the redbud trees start blooming, followed by the pear trees and bright yellow jonquils. Their blooms are a sweet signal that the long, dreary, wet winter might finally be in our rear view window, and pretty, sunshiny days are ahead. Only it’s the south, so we can also expect storms, tornadoes, and seasonal allergies (thank you Claritin and Flonase!!) The hubs and I decided to take a road trip to the Ozark Mountains for our Spring Break this year. We stayed at lovely, rustic Big Cedar Lodge, just south of Branson, Missouri. The trip called for a casual wardrobe, and layers, because of the iffy weather. I am usually so packing challenged y’all! But, I was inspired by the items I received in my latest Stitch Fix to use colors of pink and navy, creating a capsule wardrobe for my trip. Read on to see what I packed.
