Iโm thrilled to share a few fall travel capsule wardrobe ideas with you today. Iโm hopping on a jet plane bound for Italy (oh my goodness, Italy! The food, the wine, the sights, the history! EEK!) in a few days, and Iโve been furiously shopping, planning, and stressing over what to pack and wear. Because thatโs how I roll. Iโve been warned what NOT to pack or wear (which is what caused me the stress) and Iโve also been advised to pack as lightly as I can. So I created a capsule wardrobe for my trip that will be perfect for ANY trip you might be taking this fall. Iโve even included accessories!
Iโm showing off a few cute tops for fall today, because itโs time to start making that summer-to-fall transition weโve been looking forward to all month. Pretty soon weโll be enjoying all the pumpkin spice everything (unpopular opinion – not a fan of pumpkin spice) and breaking out the boots and sweaters! But hold your horses ladies, as itโs still quite hot and humid, and for those of us down south, it will be for several months! Ugh! So how do we make that summer to fall leap while the weather is still so warm? Iโm going to show you how to do thatโฆin style!
Fall Fashion from Wal-Mart is on point this year yโall! I popped into my local store and was absolutely amazed at what I saw hanging on the racks. And even though I did have to plow my way through quite a bit of leftover summer pieces (bye-bye summer your time is up) I managed to find some seriously cute stuff!ย I usually order from their website, so I kind of enjoyed the instant gratification of finding something in a treasure hunt! Check out what I found!

The top is from Wal-Martโs Free Assembly line, which is one of my favorites. The shirt fabric is a heavier knit, perfect for fall temps, and the puff sleeves are lightweight cotton. Itโs almost sold out online, so Iโm linking a few other options for you. The kick flare jeans are from Lee and feature a high rise and raw hem. They have nice stretch too! If youโre looking for an affordable denim choice that is also on trend, this pair of jeans is for you!ย
Iโm styling this outfit with the super cute Time and Tru Faux Leather crossbody that features a fun braided strip detail. Itโs a roomy little bag and the perfect color for our fall outfits!
I saw this dress on my lunch break one day and just couldnโt get it off my mind. Itโs just so pretty! I love the length and the trendy smocked bodice. It comes in two different patterns, and I honestly had a hard time making up my mind! I could easily style the dress with a denim jacket and a pair of booties as the weather cools. And doesnโt it look great with the little bag? Iโm styling it here with my braided sandals from Amazon, but I think it could easily be dressed down with sneakers, just for fun.ย
