Happy September y’all! I don’t know about you, but I am absolutely thrilled that August is in the books. We’re finally beginning the glory months – September, October and November. Fall is absolutely my favorite season. I love all things Autumn – the festive decor, pumpkins, falling leaves, sitting by the fire (eventually) and of course, fall clothing. I distinctly remember going to the drugstore to buy the fall issue of Seventeen magazine, and losing myself in the editorial pictures of the beautiful models dressed in plaid and boots and turtlenecks. Now I anxiously await the fall issues of Vogue and InStyle, and love to pore through the pages seeking inspiration and ideas. It makes me happy! Know what else makes me happy? Stitch Fix! And I am just ecstatic with the pre-fall Fix my stylist Katherine sent me this month!

I asked Katherine for a pre-fall Stitch Fix Box, and she came through for me in a big way. She left me some great styling tips in her note. That’s my favorite part of Stitch Fix – the personal service you receive from your stylist. Here’s my note from Katherine:
LIVERPOOL Elizabeth Super Skinny Jeans
Okay, these jeans y’all. I’m going to call them my “tummy tucking, booty lifting, skinny looking, no-muffin top jeans.” They. Are. Ah-mazing!!!! I think they took ten pounds off the minute I pulled them on. They come in black too, and I’ll definitely request them for my next fix. I think they’ll be super cute with tall boots and a cozy tunic sweater too. They are dream jeans y’all! Woot!
DANIEL RAINN Koda Split Neck Blouse
Katherine sent me not one but TWO Daniel Rainn tops! The beautiful floral pattern and the color palette are perfect for fall. It will be on repeat for both work and play this fall! I love how it looks with these Liverpool jeans and my booties.
DANIEL RAINN Dalenna Crochet Trim Knit Top
I don’t normally do sleeveless tops, but the crochet detail won me over. It’s stretchy and comfortable! I’ll definitely wear it with the B Collection cardigan she sent me.
B COLLECTION Wallace Brushed Cardigan
I wasn’t going to keep this cardigan, as I have several maroon cardigans in my closet already, but the brushed fabric is so super soft and cozy. I fell in love with it the minute I put it on. The waterfall drape is so pretty and flattering!
MICHAEL MICHAEL KORS Perette Knit Dress
Isn’t this dress pretty? This is the perfect dress silhouette if you happen to be pear shaped like me. An A-line dress accentuates the waist and floats beautifully over the hips. For more advice on dressing a pear shape be sure to read this post.
Katherine suggested that I style the dress with the cardigan she sent me so I gave it a try. I added white sneakers for a casual vibe. I like it! Thanks for the suggestion Katherine! Who knew a career type dress could be worn in such a casual way? Another reason I love Stitch Fix – the great style tips!
