Our Stay at Home Date Night | Stylish Monday

Almost every Sunday evening is a stay at home date night for the hubs and me. Heck, the whole day is a date for us, since we barely see each other during the week. We usually spend a long leisurely day together, then have fun cooking and hanging out in the evening. Of course, he does most of the cooking, and he almost always whips up a delicious cocktail, so it’s especially fun for me! Holiday Fashion Capsule Wardrobe

Okay. Who remembers holiday fashions in the 90’s? The beautiful (ugly) Christmas sweaters…The heavily embroidered jumpers… The plaid shirts tucked into hideously pleated khaki pants…Oh My! I distinctly remember making Christmas shirts for the whole family out of pre-printed Christmas fabric that I lovingly hand painted  and embellished with fabric paint and press on jewels. I’m pretty sure most of the designs were poinsettia, santa and teddy-bear related. I’m surprised my kids still don’t hold a grudge against me for them! And we wore them in public! On purpose! Well times have changed girls. You can still get your Holiday on, but in a less dated, and much cuter way.
