Howdy y’all and welcome! It’s already the middle of January so I guess it’s time to get 2019 started! This is where I share my daily outfits each week, and share some buying and styling tips as well. I’m trying something different this year, and in an effort to get both my budget and my closet under control, I’ve gone on a shopping diet! It’s been a bit challenging, but I’m starting to find my groove! As you probably know – The hubs takes a quick snap of me each morning before I leave for work, and I share it on my Instagram feed. If I have a previously shared pic of the item I post a comparison pic too. Here’s a few of my favorites from the past couple of weeks!
I found this sweater and moto leggings at a little boutique back in the fall, and never could find the right time to wear them. Not appropriate for work, and as the holidays approached, it seems they weren’t quite festive enough. But I finally got the chance to wear this outfit one Saturday and was super comfy all day. I added a longer top under the sweater to camouflage the hips.
Another casual outfit, this time a mixture of pieces from Stitch Fix and Old Navy. I got the Superga sneakers in my November Fix. The sweatshirt is from last year. I just love Old Navy sweatshirts. They’re always such a bargain!
This camel color sweater has been in my closet for years and years. It was one of my first purchases when I worked at Chico’s. I’ve worn it with all kinds of tops, but for some reason I like it best with denim or chambray. I wore it last fall with boots, and this year with leopard flats.
This burgundy sweater is also from Stitch Fix, and I’ve worn it several ways. It was also featured in that November Mother Daughter Stitch Fix Reveal. Here I’m wearing it with my plaid trousers from Chico’s. I originally wore the trousers with a floral sweater, also from Chico’s back in the fall, but really like them with this sweater too!
Another burgundy sweater, this time from Loft, purchased after Christmas last year. I love the length, color and weight of it. I wore it last winter with a plaid skirt and booties, and this year with my leopard print jeggings.
I found this beautiful floral jacket at TJ Maxx last fall, and fell in love with the colors and the price! I think it’d be cute with jeans and booties as well. It’s a keeper, and won’t be cleaned out of my closet any time soon!
Another Stitch Fix outfit, this one from several years ago, before I started sharing my fixes on the blog. I don’t wear it often, because it’s a super warm sweater, but it was perfect for this blustery day. I’m wearing it with jeans I also received from Stitch Fix and the booties I just got in my January Fix.
