July Stylish Monday – How We Style Graphic Tees

I’m thrilled that the theme for this month’s Stylish Monday Link Up is graphic tees! If you follow me on instagram, you’ll probably see me styling graphic tees almost every weekend. I love that they make a statement, look cute and can be styled in so many different ways. They’re just fun to wear! I usually dress mine up with a kimono, or sometimes throw a denim jacket over mine, or just style it as is and let the t-shirt do the talking! How We Style Our Graphic Tees

Nicole – High Latitude Style – shows off her graphic tee with on-trend wide leg trousers, cute sandals and a pop of color with her handbag. Why I love this look: she elevates the look with perfect proportions, using a tighter fitting top with her wide leg trousers. She looks chic, polished and comfortable!

Nancy – Nancy Fashion Style – styles her sarcastic graphic tee with a beautiful floral skirt. Why I love this look: the contrast between the statement tee and feminine skirt makes a statement itself!

Cindy – Cindy Scurry – models a DIY graphic tee. Why I love this look: the cutout neckline gives instant edge to a plain retail tee.

Michele – seechele_styles – is summertime ready in her graphic tee, olive green shorts and camo bag. Why I love this look: Michele adds a pop of personality by styling her green outfit with leopard print sneakers. Instant style!

Suzanne – Ask Suzanne Bell – wears her tee knotted on the side with a midi skirt. Why I love this look: Suzanne’s lightweight skirt is paired perfectly with the white tee. Lighter colors look and feel cooler – just right for a hot summer day!

Here are a few of my own favorite graphic tee looks: 

My graphic tee is my life motto – “Choose Joy!” I thought it would be fun to style the tee with a camo skirt and my snakeskin sandals. Camo is a neutral y’all! (at least it is for me.) Both the top and skirt were Zulily purchases.

I also recently styled a blue graphic tee and kimono with white jeans. I got tons of complements on this outfit! I kept the jewelry simple. Summer heat and heavy jewelry are not a good combo!

Another favorite is this outfit, which featured my “Honey Hush” tee and red kimono that I shared in last month’s link up party – How We Wear Summer Whites.  I added a pop of color with the bold tassel earrings my daughter gave me.

I really enjoy pairing graphic tees with florals or plaids. I don’t know why, but in my brain it just works. It’s just the contrast that makes me happy. Here’s some examples with a couple of my favorite Steel Magnolias tee shirts. They make me smile! (Don’t you just love that movie???) The plaid shirt and coral pants were from my April Stitch Fix Reveal.
