Stitch Fix Reveal – March 2019

Happy March everybody! Winter is slowly loosening her grip on our daily lives, and our wardrobes will soon be transitioning from winter to spring. If you’re like me, you might even get a Spring Break to celebrate the end of winter, and an opportunity to recharge the batteries before the non-stop busyness of the end of the school year. I’m always amazed at how quickly the last few months of school seem to fly by! Anyway, the hubs and I are planning a little getaway for Spring Break –  a road trip to the Ozarks – and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I asked my Stitch Fix stylist for a few things I could wear on our trip – which will be pretty casual and relaxed. Read on to see what she sent me.

Note from Stitch Fix Stylist
This month’s personal note from my sweet stylist Katherine.

KATE SPADE ACTIVE Scallop Performance Crop Legging | MARKET & SPRUCE Milania French Terry Kangaroo Pocket Knit Top

Kate Spade Active Leggings | Market & Spruce Kangaroo Pocket Top

Super, super cute and comfy y’all! The top is amazingly soft, with just enough weight for chilly spring evenings. The leggings sport an adorable scalloped bottom hem. Both pieces have good stretch and move with me. Leggings are not my usual go-to, however one of my greatest regrets is that I didn’t keep these leggings from my August fix, so I might keep these as a peace offering to myself. The navy blue striped top will be super cute with white skinny jeans too. (Note to self – time to shop for new white skinny jeans).

ERICA TAYLOR Karen Printed Straight Leg Pant

Erica Taylor Straight Leg Pant

Katherine sent me a black pair of these fabulous pants In last month’s fix. They’re the perfect work pant y’all. Dressy but comfortable, I’ll wear them often! Here I styled them with a blue Hawthorne sweater I got from Stitch Fix several years ago. Katherine’s style cards suggested a denim tunic with this, which would look sharp, and I think they’d look cute with a pink tunic as well. (note to self – find a pink tunic at TJ Maxx!)

COMO BLUE Lemmy V-Neck Top

COMO Blu Lemmy V-Neck Top

This is a lovely floral top, and is a great length for me, but I’m not a huge fan of rayon – I’m not currently on speaking terms with my iron! As pretty as this top is, I’m afraid it might be a pain to take care of. It arrived quite wrinkled, so that scares me a bit. But it’s pretty, and does have potential! The fabric definitely looks like my style. So Katherine definitely gets points for that!

LEVI’S Adele Contrast Cuff Cargo Jacket

Levi's Adele Contrast Cuff Cargo Jacket

This jacket will definitely be going on Spring Break with me! I giggled at Katherine’s note asking if she’s send me too much pink! Give me ALL THE PINK! I adore pink, and wear it often in the spring and summer seasons. Pink plays so well with tons of colors – navy blue, white, even olive green. It’s even cute with leopard print!! Give it a try! This jacket is absolutely adorable. It’s a great weight, and will add a nice pop of spring color to a basic jeans and sneakers outfit. Super, super cute!

So how do you think Katherine did this month? I’m so thrilled with Stitch Fix, and really encourage you to give it a try, if you haven’t already. Check out a few of my previous Stitch Fix Reveals here:

Here’s information I’ve shared about Stitch Fix previously:

What is Stitch Fix? Just in case you haven’t heard of Stitch Fix, it’s a stylish subscription service that allows you to add cute things to your wardrobe, without having to shop for them yourself. I love that I can write my stylist a note if I have an upcoming special event or occasion, or just want to add something new to my closet.

How does it work? It’s so easy and really fun to get started. Just create your  style profile at StitchFix.com and answer a few simple questions about your taste preferences, sizes, budget, and clothing needs. When you are ready, you can schedule your first fix. You’ll be matched with a personal stylist who will review your style profile and handpick five items just for you. Shipping and returns are FREE. Try everything on, keep what you love, check out easily online, or use their handy app, and return any unwanted items in the prepaid shipping envelope that is included in your fix. They even offer a 25% discount if you buy everything in your Fix!

How much does Stitch Fix cost? When you schedule your fix, you will be charged a $20 styling fee for the service, which is automatically deducted from the price of any items you choose to keep.  Prices vary and you can customize your budget for various types of clothes in your style profile. I highly recommend using Pinterest, and pinning outfits and pieces you like onto a special board for your stylist. It’s a great tool for keeping her informed about your likes and wants and needs! Stitch Fix can style anybody – women, men and even kids! Give it a try, and let me know what you think!

Thanks for stopping by the blog! Until next time!

  1. The pink jacket is adorable!!!! The stripe top and leggings will be the outfit you grab when you come home each day.

    1. Thanks Regan. That jacket was my favorite piece. I had a feeling you’d like it too. 😉

  2. Love the pink jacket! Do the Erica Taylor pants have elastic waist or a zip/tab closure? Always enjoy seeing your fixes!
